  A message to Fan Club members from Carousel - 1st February, 2000 Dear Members, After all the speculation over the past few months, this morning the Hollies issued the following announcement. Tony Hicks, Bobby Elliott, Alan Coates, lan Parker and Ray Stiles are pleased to inform you that the Hollies will be joined by Carl Wayne who is the ex lead singer of The Move. The Hollies will be undertaking a major U.K. Concert Tour during October/November 2000 and February/March 2001. Negotiations are taking place for additional dates for the summer of 2000 within the UK and abroad. To coincide with these dates, the Hollies intend to record new product, which will be available later this year. Finally, the Hollies would like to wish Allan a very healthy and happy retirement. We would like to add our own good wishes to Allan, we will certainly miss him; but on a more positive note we are excited by the prospect of new recordings and hope you will all continue to give your support to the Hollies and welcome Carl into the group.
